Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. and Boy Scouts of America have established a partnership for the purpose of implementing educational collaboration and programs that empower and enhance the quality of life for our youth.
Our vision is to serve and prepare young boys in the Gaston Community as they grow up to reach their fullest potential. The programs goal is to serve fifteen boys Kindergarten through fifth grade. The aims of scouting are to build moral strength and character, to prepare boys for the responsibilities of citizenship and to encourage fitness. Some of our activities include but are not limited to:
Camping
Fishing
First Aid
Proper knife and fire safety
Access to swim instruction
Time and Location
Time: 6:00pm – 7:00pm
